Marriage boring? My Healthy Secret Dating Tip

Is your marriage monotonous and getting you down? Well, this is my healthy secret.

Start dating!

Healthy Secret DatingWhen the romance seems to have lost its spark, and every day is lacklustre and uninspiring, why not try a few strategies to reignite the burning flame of yesterday.

Remember back to the days when you dated. Those earlier times of romance were fun, exciting and heart pumping but these days life has become monotonous. Then why not use my healthy secret and start dating?

However, I do mean with your partner.

Let your thoughts wander back to those earlier times, and recall how you spent your time together. Yes, reminisce. What did you do that was fun? Why not try to do something like that again, whether it be to go on a picnic, play a sport together, go dancing or simply go out for a meal. Do something enjoyable together – on a date. Make sure that this activity does include face to face time, as you really need to be able to talk to each other and cement the bond.

Healthy Secret Dating 1What do we talk about, you say? Get to know one another again. You may have been a partnershipr for twenty or thirty years, but raising a family and working separate careers does tend to make people drift further apart. Surely you can find things to say about your work, projects that you have accomplished, things that have brought you joy. Once the conversation starts, the ball is then rolling and you fill find lots to talk about. Try to smile, hopefully even laugh. That is so good for you, and it (the date) could be fun!

When time is scarce between managing your career, your family or business, the shopping etc., set a scheduled time for your date. Perhaps a week or so in advance so that you can be fully prepared for the date. Anticipate the time that will be spent together, and prepare yourself as you did before you married. You want to know in advance what outfit will look the best, wash your hair, paint your fingernails, wax or shave your legs. Do all the ‘girly’ things you did when you knew you were going on a date. If you have children, book the babysitter in advance which will also put a stamp on your commitment.

It is a great idea to plan these ‘dates’ on regular occasions. Once a fortnight is good, but weekly is great. You will learn to get to know your partner again and rediscover why you fell in love with them in the first place.

Another healthy secret tip is to share the organisation and decision making of what activity you will do on the date. Alternate the choices. One date, you choose and make the arrangements, and then let your partner make all the choices for the next date. Go along with their ideas and enjoy the bonding, don’t criticise any of their choices. Remember that the next one will be up to you, so go along with whatever they have suggested, and let them be responsible for ensuring that you both have a good time together.

Healthy Secret Dating 2For the rest of your life with this partner of your choice, enjoy these times together, rekindling the flame of years ago, and ensure that your future becomes a lifetime of dating this special person in your life.

Yes, make ONE CONTINUOUS DATE! "Use this Healthy Secret to benefit your relationship and your marriage to this wonderful person that you chose to be beside you forever."
