My Secret......

The majority of us wake up each morning, get ready for the 8-5 job which pays the mortgage, and then after the working day stop in at the shops, race home to cook and put a meal on the table for the family, do some cleaning, ensure the clothes are ironed for tomorrow and then fall into bed exhausted. The next thing we know, the alarm is blaring for us to get up and, what do you know?

We have to do it all over again.

In recent times, several close family members have suffered medical issues and it has really made me realise that life is too short and we simply have to take the bull by the horns and do what we can to make the most of every moment.

Then I set myself a NEW goal

"I will find a job that makes me cheerfully jump out of bed in the morning, that pays the mortgage and other bills, that allows me to unwind or just escape with my husband for a few months at a time without losing money and that I will still be happy doing in ten or twenty years time."

Sounds unrealistic? I assure you, it's not. Nothing is impossible! Remember I said elsewhere on this site, my motto is “Where there’s a will there’s a way”. Think about your life. What is it that you really want from it? And ignore that niggling voice that keeps saying,
